About Dr. John Haas, MD
Dr Haas is board certified in Internal Medicine- cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. After earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, he received additional training through an internship in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at St. Vincent Hospital Indiana. He loves caring for the Lynchburg community because he knows this is where God has called him to serve. When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, he likes to spend his time with his wife and two young children in the yard and in nature.

I moved up from FL this past year and needed a cardiologist for continued care. I was given a referral to Stroobants and had the good fortune to be assigned to Dr. Haas. He is excellent. He has a GREAT bedside manner and doesn't rush you. He is also very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. Too bad he is not primary care also lol. Highly recommend him. Glad I lucked out.
