CVCA Cardiac Care For Pets

Awesome experience for my dog and myself!!! Extremely knowledgeable vets and staff! Personable, down to earth, explained everything and more in detail yet also in a simplified way to understand everything with my Duke's heart murmmur. First time for me owning a dog with heart issues so I got an education on cardiac vet medicine and the best part was being able to be in the room while the ecocardiogram was going on and see the whole thing, ask questions, the works! You gotta see these guys!!! Duke had a blast and was calm and happy the whole time. And he says they have good cookies :)

I feel so confident taking my sweet boy Rex to CVCA. Dr. Holt and John Michael are my favorite. They always treat him with such care and affection. It's always hard when your dog has special need, but Dr. Holt makes me feel like there is a plan in place to ensure all his days with us are spent as comfortable as he can be. Rex loves you guys and so do we!

Dr. Pasieka and her team are fabulous! They make my girl Juniper very comfortable during her annual heart check ups.

This was one of the many visits to CVCA. We usually see the cardiology physicians and the is who we saw this visit. My little Yorkie has bladder cancer and was going for a cardiac checkup to make sure that she could get fluids and not over whelm her heart. The physician we saw had seen her in the past and was able to do the exam without much ado. The clinic is very professional and they care for the animals as if they were their own. They are also kind to the owners, because our pets are an extension of our families and they understand.

I went to see Dr. Lawson in February with my now 16 yr old Jack Russell Terrier, Remi, after he collapsed and almost died. He started him on 4 medications, but then dropped off 2 after running some blood work that showed his kidney values were increasing. He has done very well on these medications. We saw him again today for a 6 month recheck. Dr. Lawson was very happy with his progress and we are weaning off the 3rd med. Dr. Lawson is a very kind and knowledgeable cardiologist. He is so nice to me and Remi. I highly recommend him if your pet needs a fantastic cardiologist!
