We started seeing them in May 2025 after my daughter was diagnosed with POTS. At first they seemed caring and like we were going to get answers. They completed all of her testing, put her on a medication that initially helped. But it was all but impossible to speak to the doctor in-between visits. They didn't return calls or respond to MyChart messages. Then her symptoms worsened and they tried an additional drugs that made her worse and then a 2nd additional drug thay made her even worse than that. I tried calling to see the safe way to wear her off the medication and for a week no one returned my call. My pediatrician tried to call and they never responded to her either. We switched to a new doctor/hospital. The new doctor was FLABBERGASTED that they didn't start her on the most effective AND common drug used for people with her type of POTS. She also said the two "new" drugs are something she rarely prescribes and only uses in certain circumstances, which my daughter didn't meet the criteria for. I feel horrible we wasted 6 month of my daughter's life getting subpar care.

My appointment was less than a week away and I was JUST NOTIFIED they now use a "concierge medicine model" with an annual fee of $5,000. I promptly canceled my appointment. Completely unprofessional to bait and switch your patients after they wait months to be seen.

Dr. Hasan Abdallah and Hala Abdallah have compassion and curiosity. They listen. The care I've received with them is significantly different from what other POTS doctors/Clinics are doing. Why is that? They dig into the cause. They run lots of tests. For me those tests led them to a neurosurgeon who was able to give me answers. Now I can focus on fixing the real issues and not just manage.
This year I finally move on the next step of this journey. I have a direction and that is because of these doctors and their dedicated work. I hope to continue care with them to manage my symptoms while I find the specialized care I need to heal and recover.
My family and I are am forever grateful to these doctors and to the work they are doing. I am grateful to God for guiding me to them.

I have been seeing Dr. Abdallah for 13 years. I'd say he and his office have come a long way! Back in the day, I waited 8 hrs to see him as he was the only POTS doctor in the area. I'm so glad he has partnered with John's Hopkins over the past 3 yrs as this has allowed for more research to be done for POTS diagnosis/treatments. It has also made the office experience better with much shorter appointments and easier contact methods with the online portal. I basically treat Dr. Abdallah like my primary care doctor now since when I go to other doctors, they seem to not know anything about POTS/EDS/MCAS or how to manage me. Dr. Abdallah is always there for me, takes time to listen and makes sure to fix my ailements when I'm in a flare up. He will forever have a special place in my heart for making my life much more livable!

This office forced me to undergo upwards of 7-15+ extremely expensive medical tests that required I spend hours in the car and time out of work to make it to their office, before being able to see a doctor. They do not allow the tests to be done locally. They would not see me without these tests done. Then their staff suggested I stop taking my medication for POTS but they did not put me on new medication, and they made me wait months to see the doctor and be put on new medication. In that time I became so ill (maybe because they took me off my meds?) that I stopped being able to work, walk, or function at all. Their office would not expedite writing a note for my job and made me wait weeks for a note to explain what was happening to my employer. My employer did not believe I was sick because I could not produce a note fast enough. I lost my job and lost tens of thousands in income. I still went back to the doctor out of desperation but was treated like an afterthought. They did not even review all of the 7-15+ tests they ran on me despite multiple abnormal findings. This lead me to wonder, what were the tests for? Were they just a billing scheme to get money from my insurance company? They then put me on symptom management medication and gaslit me, told me I just needed to exercise more. They didn't even remember how I got POTS to begin with and seemed to not remember anything about who I was or the course of my illness. A year after becoming a patient at this practice a DIFFERENT unrelated doctor diagnosed the underlying cause of my POTS and is treating me for it. They only had to run 2 tests, not 7-15+. The Abdallahs often give out the treatment I am now going to receive (IVIG) from a different doctor but they withheld it from me for nearly a year despite their own flow cytometry showing immune problems. I guess they didn't care enough to consider it? They did seem to care about billing thousands of dollars to my insurance company and to me OOP. That may explain why they see 8-9 thousand patients per year. If each patient is put through upwards of 10+ tests annually, I assume that is over 9 figures billed per year. Is this medicine?
