Dr. Lidiya has displayed a shocking disregard for patient care, prioritizing her own emotions over facts and logic. She abruptly subjected me to now six days of abrupt cold turkey withdrawal without my necessary medication, despite my full compliance with all requirements for stability, peace, and health. This callous act highlights her complete disregard for human life. Furthermore, her dismissive suggestion to go to the ER if my withdrawal symptoms are that unbearable is not both heartless and unacceptable; it is a flagrant display of disregard for human life and well-being. Her emotional biased decision disregards the well-documented risks of withdrawal, including the potential for death. As a medical professional, Dr. Lidiya should understand that abruptly discontinuing long-term medication, especially for someone who is new to the area and in need of a primary care physician, can have severe consequences. This raises concerns about her willingness to jeopardize patient health for personal feelings. As a respected business owner actively involved in the community, I entrusted Sentara as a reputable healthcare facility to support me in maintaining my health. However, Dr. Lidiya's actions has shattered that trust. This feels less like a doctor-patient relationship and more like a power trip, driven by personal animosity. I strongly caution against entrusting your life, care, and voice to a doctor who is more interested in asserting authority than in collaborating with you to ensure your ongoing stability, healthcare, and well-being. As a patient, I deserve to be treated with compassion, empathy, and respect. However, Dr. Lidiya's response completely lacks any shred of these essential qualities. To dismiss my suffering and suggest that I go to the emergency room as if I am merely an inconvenience or a bother is beyond comprehension. It is as if she devalues my existence as a human being, reducing me to a mere statistic or a problem to be shuffled off elsewhere. Dr. Lidiya's actions constitute clear medical malpractice, as she exposed me to cold turkey withdrawal without any treatment plan, medical supervision, or care. Another provider confirmed the inadequacy of this approach and emphasized the importance of developing a gradual discontinuation plan. The fact that another patient faced a similar ordeal of medical malpractice but received the necessary medication further exposes Dr. Lidiya's biased and heartless nature. Her denial to prescribe the medication I have relied on since the age of 17 is unjustifiable and distressing. Dr. Lidiya's employment by Sentara, despite her prioritization of personal needs over patient care, is deeply disappointing and shocking. I strongly advise against seeking care from Dr. Lidiya, as she poses a significant threat to well-being. A healthcare professional should demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect. Dr. Lidiya's response lacks these essential qualities, dismissing my suffering and suggesting that I go to the ER as if I am an inconvenience. This indifference contradicts the expectations we have of healthcare professionals who bear the responsibility of preserving and improving individual health. The dismissive and dehumanizing suggestion to go to the ER reflects an alarming lack of empathy and a complete failure to fulfill the responsibilities of her profession thus I urge caution when considering a doctor who displays such alarming indifference and callousness. No patient should endure such callousness and indifference during their time of vulnerability. Dr. Lidiya's response is utterly unacceptable, reflecting a complete lack of regard for the sanctity of human life and her oath as a healthcare provider. This behavior represents a grievous violation of ethical standards that should guide medical professionals. Seeking legal action to hold her and Sentara accountable and pursue justice is warranted. Our health and well-being deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion, qualities that Dr. Lidiya has clearly shown herself to be lacking.

Negative. Cold blooded. Worst experience of my life. Never again. I would say find someone who has some human empathy. And I say some because this Dr. lacked ANY! Never again.
