Dr Ridley has been my Cardiologist since I moved to the 757 in 2021.
I have had multiple health issues including artethmia.
DR. Ridley has always been professional, kind and works in protocol . This year meant more procedures. He explained everything in detail.
A cardio cath procedure done with an expert team of nurses.
His office staff and back office nurses are always helpful.
It's also convenient to do cardio stress test right in the office.
His follow up with monitors are explained and medications uses and reveals are always expedited.

I didn't like his bedside manner. I just couldn't connect with him. I felt like he wasn't listening to me and that frustrated me. IDK he just doesn't seem present during my visits. All I heard were great reviews for him but I wasn't impressed. I'm thinking it's just his mannerisms that sets people off. It's like he's there but not there. I think his glory days are behind him. Because I was shocked when I met him. He didn't match the doctor with the good reviews.

My first visit i just felt like everybody had an attitude and their energy was off including the Doctor . I deal with dizziness so I be trying my best to keep my mind focused . and I just felt rushed and judged . only thing I can say good about this place was one of the nurses was sweet and patient and made sure I was comfortable while getting my vitals done .

New to Hampton roads moved here from Pittsburgh. Got a referral from our PCP to Dr Ridley per my request for my husband,
Tim. Being a Retired RN after 33 years working in ICU/ ER's, I found him to be professional and thorough , answered all of husbands and my questions. Did not feel rushed at all. Has him scheduled for a stress test . Impressed us also the fact that he actually washed his hands with soap n water before and after examining my husband! Lucky now a days if Docs use hand sanitizer before touching ya! Would recommend him on first impressions. If that changes will be sure to update this post. Today is 10-9-24.
