So sad the smaller hospital was so much more helpful staff and caring doctors. Now it's just long wait times and unprofessional staff. If you can wait it out urgent care is amazing or go to Winchester hospital. It is not a place to take a sick or injured child. Took my son who is non verbal for his finger he cut he almost lost his arm due to the staff wrapping the finger so much. Our pediatrician was livid was years ago but decided to go to take my son who hasn't eaten or drank anything. But throwing up I just wanted to check him out and waited 1 hour and a half for nothing when pressed the button no one came 15 mins later someone comes and says what do you need. Just wanted to see when would someone see him said he was next but he truly wasn't. He was tired and sick thought they would help but honestly felt bad taking him out there for no one to look at him or help him we left and will take him to urgent care. Never going back to that hospital

I'm from out of town and had a really good experience at this emergency room. It wasn't very busy when I went. I only sat in the waiting room for around 10 minutes. And beyond that most of my waiting was for specific test results. I was in and out in around 4 hours. Everyone I talked to was very kind and talked me very clearly through what was going on. I could tell there were probably more pressing issues at the er, but based on the way the nurses and doctors talked to me I felt like I was a priority.

UPDATE - 6 days after being seen at Warren Memorial, I had another set of x-rays done (recommended by the ER docs here) and it revealed that my wrist is in fact broken in at least two places. I understand that fractures/breaks don't always show up in the initial x-rays after a fall, so I am 100% satisfied with the care I got here. Solo Road Trip: I drove 2.5 hours to get to this ER after a slip & fall on Skyline Drive. I had to call from the parking lot because, altho i was able to drive, I was not able to put weight on my right foot. Two girls came out with a wheelchair (thank you!). Left wrist was badly sprained, at the very least. My timing must have been good (close to 3pm on a Tuesday) -- I was taken right back. They took vitals and two sets of x-rays. No fractures or sprains. They gave me a brace for my wrist and a small boot for my ankle. I was grateful to be able to drive the remaining 4.5 hours home. Good care for a solo out-of-state traveler!

Had to bring my toddler here for a head laceration after he fell....got brought back, out of the waiting room quick, but got stuck in the farthest room of the ER for over an hour now & still have NOT been seen!! A possible concussion in a toddler is NO joke & SHOULD be taken seriously!! Yet, here we are STILL! Ridiculous!

My sister was there on Sunday, she had to wait 3 hrs..and was not seeing by a doctor..a nurse took her vitals and had her wait in waiting area..later she was taking into a room..waited 3 hrs..when she ask why nobody had come to check on her..she was pretty much told..that her visit was not a priority..and that she was free to go if she didn't want to wait. They had others with life-threatening at the time..my sister was there because she had a seizure!.. She left the room..for God's sake Where they short staff?..how can this be possible..
