SHAME ON YOU. My mother required emergency surgery after a slip-and-fall accident that resulted in a broken hip. The procedure went well, and during her hospital stay the staff was friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. For that, I was truly grateful. However, everything changed when it was time for her discharge. We were told there were only two rehabilitation options: Evergreen Health & Rehabilitation in Winchester or another facility in Warrenton. Living in Alexandria, I trusted the hospital's guidance in choosing the best and safest place for my mother's recovery. Based on their recommendation, we proceeded with Evergreen in Winchester. Evergreen was horrific. The environment felt more like a graveyard than a rehabilitation center. My mother endured 50 hours there before I arranged an urgent transfer to a facility that was actually capable of providing proper care. Warren Memorial should immediately remove Evergreen Health & Rehabilitation from its list of referral options. No patient or family should ever be placed in a facility with such poor conditions--especially when the hospital is fully aware of its reputation and performance. Please do not let this happen to another family.

I was referred to Warren Memorial Hospital for MRI due to documented pituitary hormone abnormalities. Standard medical protocol for pituitary evaluation is MRI brain with and without contrast, pituitary protocol. However, my MRI was performed without contrast only. During the scan, the MRI technologist immediately informed me that this was not correct pituitary protocol and stated that the radiologist would likely need to request a repeat MRI with contrast. The finalized radiology report described the study as "unenhanced" and stated there was "no visible focal abnormality," yet did not recommend the required contrast-enhanced follow-up that is standard when pituitary pathology is suspected and non-contrast imaging is inadequate. As a result, my diagnostic evaluation has now been unnecessarily delayed, and my primary care physician has been placed in a position where insurance barriers now prevent immediate correction of the imaging study. This has forced my care team to pursue alternative diagnostic pathways that would not have been necessary if the correct imaging protocol had been followed initially. This failure to follow standard pituitary imaging protocol and to escalate an acknowledged limitation is not a bedside manner issue -- it is a systems failure that directly affects patient safety, care efficiency, and timely diagnosis.

I went there today 12/19/25 to get an xray and waited an hour before the person in front of me got her xray. She was finished in about 5 minutes. So thinking since I am the only one waiting I would be next. I waited for 20 more minutes amd no one came and no one in the room to ask as no one at the desk. So I went out in the outside lobby and one of the people there was telling a man that they had all gone to lunch and would not be back for awhile. Someone should of informed me of that. It is rude behavior on there part and I will be telling others to go elsewhere for test because you are not informed as to what is going on.

I had two of the best nurses I have had since my body decided it should grow cancer. I usually am not admitted to Warren Memorial (only because I also have a rare liver condition), but they stabilize me and then transport me to Georgetown University but this time I stayed at Warren. Maddison (Maddy) and Jamie were two of the finest nurses I have ever had. I wish they could be my personal travel nurses. If you are ever on the 3rd floor, ask for them. Ive seen/experienced a lot nurses and these two were exceptional.

My girlfriend broke her leg, took her here. They treated her super well. We accidentally left her shoe full of charms. I called the same day to tell them we left it. I come back 4 days later and they've thrown it away. That shoe wasn't cheap and was covered in very personal belongings. Absolutely no concern for others. Exceptionally disgusting and disappointing behaviour. And to top it off. She needed a new doctor's note because the place she was told to go to cant get her an appointment on time, they still won't give her a new doctor's note. Jeopardizing her job
