Patient
Saw this cardiologist for my nearly 70 year old father after recommendation from a previous physician. I will start by saying he has no bedside manner. He walked into a first ever appointment with a newly established patient and provided little to no introduction. He continued without any bedside manner whatsoever and while he was knowledgeable with the clinical data, he had zero sympathy or empathy for his patient. Completely flat in his delivery of clinical information. It was extremely evident that this newer MD had zero compassion for his newly established patient. There was no warmth delivered whatsoever. Truly treated my father like another number/statistic in his book for the day; clearly no interest in getting to know or build rapport with his patients. As an RN of over 13 years, I am confident this will be a long career road ahead if he doesn't have a change in his bedside manner. Yes, doctors are here to serve their knowledge and treat but you also need good customer service. I guess you really know when one's in it for the right reasons.....
