Patient
An awful experience. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt I had to in this case as a public service. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a medical office - made worse by the fact my son got caught up in it. We needed to get a test for my son, and after filling out paperwork and waiting almost an hour we found out that they would refuse him service because I had a residual cough from an infection three weeks and three days prior to our appointment (the CDC advises that the contagious period is about 10 days, so as far as I'm aware I would not have been contagious at that time). At first, they said they would provide the test if he would go in alone, which was weird because he is so young. Then they changed their minds and denied him service altogether. As a result of their refusal, my son got the test completed several days later after we booked at another medical group, and we got the result two-three days later than would have if they hadn't refused him. A senior doctor later called me and apologized, noting two or three spots where they failed (one may have been not properly reading the paper I filled out) and said she would address the issue with staff, which I appreciated. Luckily my son is great - the test that we got from the other medical practice came back fine. But at the time they denied my son service we didn't know that. Their actions caused a lot of stress and I felt they didn't show they cared much for his well-being.
