I had the privilege to shadow under Dr. Khan for almost a year now, and he is an amazing mentor! He has been my family's doctor since my parents came to the US. I always hear nothing but compliments from my parents and grandparents about how helpful he is. He gave me a lot of advice about the field of medicine and was very helpful throughout my first year of undergraduate studies. From what I have observed, he is very thorough in appointments and provides adequate time to ensure patient satisfaction is guaranteed. Whether if that is through Telehealth or in person, he is able to maintain the same positive attitude he brings to his office everyday. Blood work can be done same day as there is a lab in the building! Front desk is very helpful and notifies you if there is anything wrong with between insurance billing. Dr. khan is very communicative and provides you verbal instructions on how to take your medicine as well as how to dispose it if needed. He is also quick to work on completing refill requests and prior authorizations through pharmacies/insurances. I am looking forward on continuing my shadowing journey under Dr. Khan throughout the remainder of my undergraduate years. Also, make sure you ask about his golf career and his traveling experiences!
