My husband's primary doctor faxed a referral 3 times. Finally called and spoke with staff at UVA Cardiology confirmed fax received the 3rd time. Was told to wait to hear from their office. Never received a call back! Called two weeks later they stated never received fax from primary doctor. Requested to speak with Supervisor and she informed me fax was never received but somehow they had our personal home address, husband's business phone number and his birthdate. Supervisor suggested our primary doctor could fax today but I said no way if their office staff is this incompetent we would not consider having their doctors advised us! We had all the details where we had spoken with their staff but they would not agree they had received fax! Very undependable! Whoever hires receptionist is a direct reflection of their business!
