Dr. Kanika Govil MD in South Riding

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I go into my appointment that was scheduled for 130 at 1:25. I made sure I was early fill out the paperwork they gave me and I wait to get called back another patient comes in after me five minutes later and they get called back within a minute or two later Which they had an appointment for 145. I was annoyed that I had an appointment before them and I still hadn't been called fast-forward 25 minutes later I still haven't been called. I went to the receptionist and told her that it's been over 20 minutes and that I need to get back to work. They immediately called me Back ask any questions and told them they would be back shortly. I waited Another 20 minutes in the room for someone to come back. No one came back, So I was forced to get up and leave the doctors office because I was already late to work. I called the doctor office after I left and asked them to please have Dr. Govil Call me and they refused to take my information down and let the doctor call me back. Worst experience ever I do not recommend this place at all. Don't waste your time. I wasted over an hour at this office for nothing..

I went in to get a physical exam for USCIS. The front desk staff were great, however the Doctor had a policy to charge patients $1 for each mask in case you did not have one?!? A lady walks in with her 1 year old baby and struggles to find her mask and gets a credit card out to pay for a mask.Come to find out they don't charge credit cards less than $5 due to fees. Seriously?? Talk about making it hard on patients. Being an immigrant myself, don't people learn from living in this country and the abundance that's given to us? I wonder how she treats her employees!

Completely and utter UNPROFESSIONALISM AND INCOMPETENCE. Staff did not communicate to me that a cat scan had been ordered for me to get done. I spent the next two days trying to get the office to send me the cat scan orders. When I finally received the orders I was informed by the hospital that one of the orders was not properly filled out. I clearly communicated this to the office and what needed to be fixed, but when they sent the order it was still not filled out properly. Over 5 days have been spent trying to get the order properly filled out. And to date it has not been properly filled out which caused me to lose a necessary appointment in order to try get them to do a basic function of their job. The frustration I have had to deal with while remaining undiagnosed and untreated is completely and utterly ridiculous and unacceptable.

Pretty horrible doctor. Gave Dr. Govil as second chance because she's close to my home but her extremely cold attitude is alive as ever! She's messed up my lab results as well and was very rude to me when I asked her to fill out a form for my sons school. Furthermore, I was here at 8am because last time my appointment was super rushed and I wanted my son to be the first appointment so she could take a better look at him but nope! She basically gave curt responses to all my concerns and had us out the door in 15 minutes. Please find someone better if you're in the loudoun area. The doctors near the lafayette center are way better but they just weren't available while my son was in town. Both of my experiences with her have been terrible.

First of all, I have never put negative reviews before. But if I don't do this today, there may be people who get hurt due to sheer negligence of this provider. What happened to physical exam? I went to her clinic for lower back pain with posture change and annual physical exam after 2 yrs. I received, zero physical exam. I mean zero. She could have pretended to use her stethoscope, see what I meant by change in my gait, ....I am The rest of her staff are great
