I've been a patient in the INOVA system for nearly 40 years, and Dr. Chandra is without question one of the best doctors I've had. She is compassionate, energetic, and has a wonderful bedside manner that immediately puts me at ease. She actively listens, involves me in my own care, and takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options so I feel both informed and empowered. What makes Dr. Chandra exceptional is her holistic approach to complex health issues; she doesn't just treat symptoms, she works to understand the whole picture. She is patient, thorough, and proactive about referrals when specialist input is needed. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure nothing is overlooked, and I always feel that she sincerely cares about my health and well-being. Because of the trust and confidence I have in her, I've recommended Dr. Chandra to my own family members who also use INOVA. In my decades of experience with the system, she stands out as a rare physician who combines deep clinical knowledge with genuine compassion and patient partnership. Dr. Chandra is an invaluable asset to INOVA and patients like myself who rely on her exceptional care.

Dr. Chandra is the BEST Primary Care Provider (PCP) I've ever had. She's incredibly knowledgeable, extremely compassionate, and cares about her patients. I've never had a PCP who helped me 'quarterback' my many health issues or pay attention to my medications to ensure my safety, until now. She doesn't rush our appointments, takes time to understand my concern, and discusses solutions with me to help figure out what will best fit my health needs. I'm incredibly grateful for her support and continuous care; she's helping me become the best version of me despite the ongoing health issues. LOVE HER!!

Unfortunately, recent consultation with Dr. Chandra Anjali left me feeling disheartened and dissatisfied. From the very beginning, her manner came across as dismissive and unnecessarily superior, creating an uncomfortable environment. Instead of engaging in a respectful dialogue, she seemed uninterested in hearing perspective or understanding concerns. Her interactions lacked warmth and empathy, particularly toward senior patients, and at times her behavior -- such as eye-rolling -- felt both unprofessional and disrespectful. I was also surprised and disappointed to hear her make negative remarks about another doctor, which I found inappropriate. Overall, the consultation did not reflect the compassion, patience, or professionalism I would hope to experience in a medical setting.

Dr. Chandra is the best PCP I have had. She is kind, attentive and works with you to develop the best plan for your health. So grateful to have a provider I can trust.

My experience with Dr. Chandra Anjali was frankly appalling. This doctor is incredibly condescending and displays a truly arrogant demeanor. It felt like she had no interest in actually listening to my concerns as a patient. When I tried to engage in a basic discussion about health, mentioning that fever can help the body fight infections, she was immediately dismissive and flat-out told me that was "wrong." This kind of attitude is shocking from a primary care physician and completely undermined my trust. Furthermore, despite expressing my concerns and requesting basic testing, none were ordered. It felt like she actively avoided investigating my health issues further. Based on this experience, I can only guess that perhaps dealing with insurance is simply too much trouble for her, which is a terrible reason to neglect patient care. Overall, the lack of empathy, dismissive attitude, and refusal to properly investigate concerns make this one of the worst experiences I've had with a healthcare provider. I would absolutely not recommend seeing this doctor if you expect to be listened to or taken seriously.
