I love Dr. Malekiani! She has such a wonderful demeanor and is a pleasure to visit. The newly updated office in Shirlington is very nice. She is popular so you need to make your physical appointment a year out! I can always see her within few days for other needs. The office staff is quick and professional. A+!

Dr. Malekiani is an exceptional doctor. She is highly educated and has considerable medical experience. She is very caring, is an excellent listener and is very thorough in using the extensive medical data at her disposal to reach the best treatments for her patients. In this instance, Dr. Malekiani set up necessary referrals for my wife to consult with a gynecological urologist specialist with supporting physical therapy at the Virginia Hospital Center, rather than increasing the dosage of one of her prescriptions, as I had requested. In so doing, she seeks to deal directly with my wife's causal factors and to avoid negative drug side effects and conflicts with her other existing prescriptions.

I have ONLY positive things to say about my primary care doctor, Dr. Malekiani. VHC Physician Group should do everything to retain her into the future. She is incredibly caring and present, yet efficient. She instills confidence with her depth of medical knowledge and awareness of new information and prevention recommendations. I love Dr. Malekiani! The VHC Billing Department is a very different story. The lack of attention to and incompetency shown toward rectifying charges on some of my medical services this year has been exceedingly stressful and vastly decreased my confidence in the hospital, where I delivered my now 9 year old (and had a good experience) and have had numerous appointments and procedures since. I would like to speak with an evaluator or hospital leader about these issues with the Billing Dept.

Dr Malekiani is wonderful - provides all options and recommendations for joint decision making. Always encouraging while being realistic. Incredibly knowledgeable and practical at the same time. As a physician myself I can say she is an excellent internist.

I'd give 5 stars to Dr. Malekiani herself. She is awesome. However, it's almost impossible to get an appointment with her. You have to schedule 8 months to a year ahead. Also if you call the office, you will be on hold for 15-30 minutes, even calling first thing in the morning. Some things you can schedule online, but if you need to talk to the office, I've found it pretty inaccessible.
