Dr. Daniel Lustgarten is an electrophysiologist at the UVM Medical Center Department of Cardiology in South Burlington, VT. He is also the Medical Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Research Laboratory at the University of Vermont Medical Center and a professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM. Dr. Lustgarten specializes in the treatment of cardiac disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, usually seeing patients who have an electrical disorder of the heart, such as atrial fibrillation, heart rhythm disorders, and intracardiac echocardiography. I have seen Dr. Lustgarden twice and he never even took a listen at my heart at either appointment. He referred me to an obesity clinic and said my electrical issues were from being over weight.
It is well known that electrical issues are not causedfrom weight. But rather hereditary and from stress etc.
I have since lost 30 lbs and am still having even more consistent palpitations. Luckily I am now seeing a different Doctor and am being listened to better. He probably would of been great as a nutritionist or in sports medicine.
