I can not believe I didn't do this sooner. Just came up on my 5 year mark for my heart surgery. Almost could never tell, she did such a beautiful job. Every doctor I have seen since, has told me what beautiful work, she did. Thank you for saving my life!! Forever thankful and grateful my life has never been better!! I've been to almost all 50 states now, hiking in each one. Love you!!!!

I was very fortunate to have Dr Hirashima and her team perform my quad CABG procedure in October 2023. I had gotten excellent recommendations from multiple people that she was the best including my cardiologist. Thanks to her skills along with her team's, I am feeling 20 years younger and doing great. I will be forever grateful.

I was so fortunate to have Dr. Hirashima perform my quad bypass. As soon as I met her and she described her approach, her team, her plans for repairing my artery issues, I was completely at ease. Of course I don't know how smoothly the surgery went but my recovery was "textbook". The nursing and care team at UVM Medical and specifically the Miller Building are exemplary in their knowledge and attentiveness. I have no experience with hospitalization but I can't see how I could have been any more comfortable and safe. Thank you again Dr. Hirashima!

When I again one day must have heart surgery, I already know who I'm going to call, Dr Fuyuki Hirashima. This Cardiac Surgeon is highly qualified in her surgical skills. How do I know this? I allowed her to perform not 1, not 2 but 3 major operations on me in 1 operation. I had my reservations about all the complications that could arise from this complex procedure, but Dr Hirashima assured me that I was in good hands, and she delivered on that promise. I came into the hospital day 1 and walked out on day 5. No complications, no infections, just healing back to health. I always felt peaceful each day when she came to check on me in my room. I always felt I was in good hands. When you go into surgery with this surgeon you get the real deal. She's the team leader out on point and is keenly aware of the gravity of operating on the heart. Her team is highly qualified for complex surgery. Dr Hirashima's bed side manners are exemplary. The words I have for her at bed side are caring, thoughtful, kind, warm, attentive in listening and concern for the needs of other. I want to give her 6 stars but can only give her 5 so I will give her the 6 stars here. STAR, STAR, STAR, STAR, STAR, STAR Thank you, Dr Hirashima and your team for saving my life and giving me more added years of life's enjoyment!!

This Doctor is truly amazing! We are forever grateful for what she did for our daughter Donna J Edwards and the time she spent doing it. If we could give her more stars we definitely would.
