About Dr. Joanna Joly, MD
Dr. Joanna Joly is a specialty care physician board-certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and internal medicine. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2011. She has a special interest in pregnant individuals with high risk cardiovascular disease, and enjoys collaborating with obstetricians to provide exceptional peripartum care for this vulnerable population. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Joly was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
