Patient
Not a good experience at all regarding our mother's care during her stay at the this hospital. The lack of communication between staff and each provider was non existent. We had to explain to each provider that was providing care what the other had told us. Each provider gave us different and conflicting information. My mothers primary care physician had spoken to a PA from cardiology from the hospital and it was advised for my mom to be taken to the ER and admitted that evening. This was documented but the ER was unaware what she was there for. We were told that they had no records of anything like that. All this information is on her discharge papers that they knew nothing about throughout her whole stay. She was also told by the discharging nurse, when asked, about her UTI results we were told that the test were clean and no sign of an infection. The next day we received a text stating her prescription was ready to be picked up. We called the pharmacy to see what it could be since my mom receives all her medication through her assisted living facility. It was a prescription for her UTI that she was told she didn't have. In viewing her MyChat it showed that the urinalysis was positive and the results were given on the next morning of her first night. My mom went four days of pain when urinating. I could keep going on and on. This is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered with a hospital.
