I was SO fortunate to have Dr. Jordy Cox care for me after I had a pulmonary embolism while traveling.
He took so much time to explain my condition in a way that I could understand, and his follow-up was meticulous. He made sure I had the tests that would give him a clear picture of how to best care for me.
Dr. Cox was treating me as a person - not just a patient. His experience and knowledge instilled such confidence and trust!
If you have the opportunity to have Dr. Cox care for you - you can thank your lucky stars.

20 years ago I met Dr. Cox when I was referred to him with a lump in my thyroid. Dr. Cox had excellent bedside manner and he helped me through the process after finding out it was thyroid cancer. When he told me we would need surgery to remove it, I looked at my mom and asked "can we afford this?"... to which Dr. Cox spoke up and replied "I don't care if I have to give the shirt off of my own back, we will do this and you will be okay". He did the first surgery to remove the left side of my thyroid (where the lump was). We joked and he handed me a small bouncy ball after surgery, telling me that's what he found in there. Keep in mind, I was a terrified 17 year old who didn't even know what a thyroid was at that point. The nodule was tested positive for thyroid cancer and a week later, Dr. Cox went back in the same incision to remove the right side. I will never forget the day he told me the results of the testing. It was my 17th birthday. He took his time on this surgery, ensuring that I wouldn't be left with a narly scar for the rest of my life. He worked within limited parameters and was able to successfully remove all of the cancerous tissue that had overcome my thyroid.
Even now, on the exact 20th anniversary of finding the lump on my neck, I have the picture of he and I standing in my hospital room hanging on my wall. He made such an impact in my life by just doing what he does and being who he is. I will forever be grateful that I was granted the opportunity to have him as part of my life long journey.

My husband had a stroke last April and also has congestive heart failure. His left carotid artery is 80% blocked and without intervention he more than likely will have another stroke. Dr. Cox and his medical assistant Rob provide care unlike anything I've experienced in my 60 years. They are personable and take all the time needed for you to understand any testing procedures and each step along the way. Dr. Cox drew a diagram to better explain my husband's issues and even informed me about the Goodrx app and how it worked from his cell phone. And Rob ...well he is a godsend! The medications my husband needs to help his heart get strong enough for him to have surgery are not covered by our insurance and the costs are astronomical. They have provided us with some samples that has immensely helped with our financial burden. They not only care about their actual patient but have compassion for the caregivers also. Rob helped me through a meltdown I had and I will forever be grateful. Their entire office is welcoming and you almost feel like family going there. I'm % confident that they are the most knowledgeable and provide the best care of any doctors out there.

I can't say enough about what a great experience my 1st meeting with Dr Cox was. My wife and I met him as a referral for possible surgery after my recent angio. Dr Cox was exceptionally easy to talk to and he took plenty of time to explain everything to my wife and I. While I don't look forward to having open heart surgery; I can honestly say I absolutely trust Dr Cox to perform my surgery and I highly recommend him.

I had a bad experience with Dr. Jordy Cox, I lived through hell. Dr. Jordy Cox destroyed my body. leaving the heart open for a long time and a lot of tension and for not paying the necessary professional attention to the process ending with Keloides growing and multiplying rapidly due to the bad surgeries performed. It's almost two years of much pain. he says that he is not an expert on scars. affecting a patient forever. he had to contact an expert plastic surgeon because he couldn't do the job well, he failed 2 times to repair this job. that makes no sense. I have had 3 surgeries to replace those errors and still have not recovered, affecting me physically, psychologically and mentally. I hope that the health authorities help stop bad doctors that affect people's lives.
