Nice new building. Came here for an appointment and everything is so fancy, nice views. Not that that's what you care about when going to the doctor haha. It functions fine, my same doctor was here, just like at the old location.

My 4 year old daughter had surgery to replace her ear tubes and remove her adenoids. She has had a long history of ear infections and is incredibly nervous and scared in Dr. Offices so we were nervous about how she would be when we checked into surgery. I wasn't able to be there that morning, so my wife took her, and everything from the moment they arrived at the Hospital to the time they left was absolutely flawless. First of all, the valet parking is absolutely genius for parents with small children! The check in process was quick and very efficient, and soon they went back to the pre-operative area. When they walked into the room, there was a soft, fluffy blanket, cute pajamas, a teddy bear and activities to keep our daughter entertained while they waited for surgery. What could have been a sterile waiting room, was transformed into a warm, friendly and fun waiting room where our daughter felt immediately comfortable and was not at all nervous. Every Nurse and Dr. they encountered that day was incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions they had. My wife loved the food options in the cafeteria while she waited, and especially loved the Styrofoam cups, and the Coke Freestyle machine. I can not speak highly enough of how wonderful our experience was there and highly recommend the facility. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
We had all four children (three pregnancies) delivered there. I have had my kidney stones and other significant problems resolved here - even my sons tubes - and thus far I have 'loved, loved, loved,' them -- until now. I have had normal back pain, as a lot of folks have; however, the other night while picking up my son I heard a loud "POP" and I immediately fell to the floor. After not being able to move for 8 hours (not even roll over), I finally gave up and called the paramedics (while lying on the floor on speakerphone). The local team was amazing, and the ambulance team was the best. Once we got to the hospital, it was a nightmare. They didn't care how much pain I was in, or about me as a patient. The only thing the cared about was collecting money (the registration lady came in twice asking for payment, even though I couldn't even move to get my wallet) and getting me discharged quickly. The MRI showed that I have a ruptured disc, so what I didn't understand was why the entire time I was there they were treating me like I was a drug person. All they kept asking and talking to me was 'down,' and I need to basically stop faking it. They were rude, moved me around aggressively, and on several occasions indirectly accused me of just being there for pain medicine. Our co-pay portion of the night will be around $5,500. If I were just there for a few hours of relief, I could have done much better elsewhere. My primary care knows me, and the medical history shows that I always turn down most medicines - so I don't know why I was treated so poorly. I hope to never, ever have to go there again - but I fear that being the closest 'decent' hospital, I don't have a choice. I wish something would change, and I am still angry with the experience. Imagine that, instant back pain that is 3-4 times worse than my last set of kidney stones (that had to be blasted) and the only thing I remember from the night was how rude and awful the hospital was to me. What a nightmare. Living in the best country (and may I say the best state) in the world, I should not have to be treated like I were the worst person in the world, when I am hurt and agonizing. Just awful. Awful, awful, and awful.
I delivered my baby here and wouldn't mind delivering all my future children here. I had good luck with nurses for the most part and my doctor was exceptional. I can't give them a bad rating based on two nurses that really bothered me when the other staff was fabulous. The delivery room was comfortable and the food from the cafeteria was delicious. The mother and baby room was a bit small and even the nurses mentioned that when getting their equipment in there haha The construction was horrendous but they can't do anything about that. Overall I am satisfied with my care and comfort there.
This is a huge thank you to the emergency room staff working on Thursday (7/20/17) about noon. Even though I was feeling absolutely horrible (and not acting my nicest because of it) you all were so kind to me. The people in admitting, the nurses at the door, the nurses in emergency, the PA and the doctor, the guy who pushed my bed down the halls for internal images, the one person I was mean to when she wanted to take my blood--every single one of you were so good, so professional, and so swift to help me that I'm not sure I could have asked for a better group of people to help me. I was then admitted to the second floor where I was watched over for 24 hours by the kindest nurses and techs an old girl could want. They answered every time I needed anything. They were sweet and compassionate. They checked on me even when I didn't call them. They helped me to the bathroom promptly. They worried over me and were so good and kind. I don't know if I lucked out when I wound up with these women (and two men at night), but I couldn't have been treated better. I have no question in my mind, if I ever need to go to the hospital again, which hospital I will choose.
