Jonathan Nelson PA-C | Pulmonology

I had been struggling to control my asthma all summer. Dr Nelson helped me to determine what I needed to do differently to get things back to normal. He also addressed a long standing problem that I have asked several providers about in the past without resolution. I was able to get the needed testing scheduled to address the issue. He listens carefully, provides more information than any other provider I've ever had, but works so thoroughly that it all gets done in the time a regular Exam takes. I'm very happy with him providing my care!

I would definitely recommend Jonathan Nelson for your pulmonology needs. He's very smart, and his bedside manner is great. There definitely wasn't that kind of invisible wall that you often feel when a doc doesn't connect with you as a person. From the get go, I could tell that he was really interested in helping me feel better. The appts are pretty quick but he talks fast (not too fast) and since I have a lot of experience with medical/health, I was able to follow him and knew the right questions to ask which has made for some quick, efficient appts but I've never felt rushed. He is also good at explaining things I don't to know. No arrogance, no impatience with questions. Good sense of humor. Just a good natured person who puts you at ease pretty quickly. I have A TON of experience with medical professionals/doctors stuff and you never really know who you'll get. But I would recommend him without reservation.
