Dr. Asay did more than I even expected! During our consultation he explained that two arteries were severely diseased one of which was 100% blocked from a previous surgery by another doctor 9 years ago. Dr. Asay said he probably would not be able to stent it based on other complications and that bipass would quite possibly be the only option. However, he also understood that, all things considered, having a bipass would created a hardship for us and that if there was anyway of getting that artery open was our greatest hope. Well while performing the angiogram he was able to begin opening one end then the other and by slowly repeating that sequence the artery opened completely! We were so surprised! We are so grateful! Dr. Asay could've much easier done a bipass (which one other surgeon had already recommended) but Dr. Asay listened, was willing to try and was able to fix the problem without doing a bipass. I have recommended my dad to him now. Thanks Dr. Asay!
