Patient
Had an extremely difficult morning with my children but was looking forward to finally seeing a doctor for the first time in a long while to hopefully get some answers on increasing medical concerns. Due to some unavoidable issues with the kids and our car we got to the clinic later than we thought we would. 9 minutes late. I was told they marked me as a no-show and that the doctor wouldn't be able to see me. I was scared and in pain but apparently if you're more than 8 minutes late, you're not worth their time. Two years of dealing with issues getting medical insurance and finding a doctor who would listen and I finally had an appointment with a doctor I was told was great and very patient with his patients, so much so that he often runs late because he is so dedicated to giving his patients the time that they need from him. But I was wiped from the board before he even met me. The next available appointment wasn't for two weeks and I didn't feel I could wait that long so we left. I really had hoped to finally find a clinic where they cared more about their patients than about the almighty dollar but I guess the search continues. I haven't felt like I mattered so little in a while. I had such high hopes for this office, we've been taking our son to Budge Clinic- Pediatrics and we have loved it. We will continue to enjoy taking our son there but for an adult, it seems that they just want to rush through as quickly as they can.
