Chad B. McBride, DO

Dr McBride is a blessing to his profession. I was nervous about my recently developed heart condition, but after getting in to see Dr. McBride I have felt reassured that I am in better shape than I had first thought. Due to my family history of heart disease, he suggested a variety of tests and scans, to rule out every possibility to find out what is going on with my heart. He took the time to listen to me and gave me really good counsel as for what I can do to address and improve my condition. I like that he didn't jump to me taking medication or to open heart surgery. He is patient and kind and didn't ever make me feel rushed or that I was a bother. He even personally called back when I had some additional questions after an appointment. He is truly concerned and wants the best for his patients. If you are looking for a great cardiologist Dr. McBride is "The Man".

I have had a great experience with Dr McBride. As a very young patient, he has consistently addressed my concerns regarding my family history of sudden death and heart problems and has been an advocate for me to get the proper tests and screening I need to understand my risks as I age. I highly recommend him and the entire office staff!

Dr. McBride is awesome. He is a competent, skilled cardiologist...but best of all he actually listens and is "in the room" when you consult with him. I felt like a valuable human being in his care. I'd had some bad luck recently with doctors that dismissed my recurring issues. Not here, and not with Dr. McBride. I'd highly recommend him to anyone need cardiovascular care. He works hard to get it right for his patients. BONUS: the staff and front desk at Utah Cardiology are actually NICE, helpful, and responsive.

My mom has been seeing Dr. McBride for several years. Last week she had weeping in her legs and sores forming. Took her to her regular doctor and he sent out an urgent request to McBride for a echo to be done. The BNP came back over 800 indicating heart failure. I called his office because it's now been a week since the request was sent and no call from his office. They said they couldn't get my mom in until end of July. A month out! Are you kidding me? She has fluid weeping from her legs causing sores and she's a diabetic on top of that. The bloodwork shows heart failure and she's obviously in congestive failure from all the fluids and you are putting her off a month? I asked the receptionist if this would be acceptable if it was her mother. She just said sorry I don't have any appointments. I asked her to physically talk to Dr McBride regarding her situation since she IS his patient and see if he feels good about letting her go on like this for another month without being seen. She said she would and would call me back. NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM HER. They could care less if your in heart failure, I refuse to go to a doctor who does not have more caring than that for their patients. Beware of McBride. If you want your loved one to die, go to McBride, because they will pass away before they ever care to get them in to be seen.

Chad McBride saved my life by diagnosing my pulmonary arterial hypertension. He went all out and scheduled all the test himself one right after the other. He truly made me feel like he was trying to save my life. After my heart cath. He referred me to my pulmonologist at the university of Utah. It's been amazing ever since.
