For the first time in over 20 years, I feel great. Dr. Usala is the first physician to look at my overall health picture, monitor my thyroid meticulously, diagnose my Graves Disease and provide the treatment that has FINALLY regulated my thyroid. His compassion and determination also helped me start Tepezza infusions to combat my thyroid eye disease. He is so kind, and explains everything in great detail and in a way I can understand what is going on. I am a different person today because of his fine care! The office staff is very nice and extremely efficient. The nursing staff is also wonderful--always positive and encouraging!

I had to change doctors due to insurance changes that my previous doctor did not take. I wanted to stay within AMS because of my past history with the group and it's doctors and staff. Dr Usala had an opening for new patients and took my insurance. My initial visit, while long, was very thorough and informative. He took great interest in my current control and treatments. Fortunately, my previous doctor and I had worked through many scenarios so I was in fairly good control. Dr. Usala explained his methods and goals to help me better achieve my blood sugar control. He offered other options that may be better and wanted to visit more at a later date to review more of these options. I am currently on the Insulet OmniPod insulin pump and have been very satisfied with the results. Dr. Usala will be reviewing my current program and treatment. I felt very secure in the knowledge that he will provide excellent guidance and a watchful eye on my condition. His staff is very good and helpful. I really felt like they all had my best interests in mind.

I have been a diabetic patient of Dr Usala's for years and truthfully believe that he is the best and most knowledgeable doctor I have the privilege of knowing. His patience and caring far exceeds other physicians . He and his staff are GREAT. I feel very fortunate to have them as my primary care.

Dr. Usala has been my doctor for ten years. When I met him I was in poor health. I was diagnosed with Adult onset Type 1 diabetes. Thanks to his vast knowledge I live a full life today with good control of my diabetes through the use of an insulin pump. His staff is amazing. I am truly grateful to be his patient.

I was a patient of Dr Usala's for almost 4 years, and was disappointed to have to change doctors due to relocating for work this year. I began seeing him to help care for my type 1 diabetes, which he was very knowledgeable about. I began using a new insulin pump while seeing him and he and his nurse were there to help with it the whole way. He was also able to help with other questions and health concerns as well, which was great to not have to find another doctor in the area for general care. Overall he seemed like a very good doctor and person; I would definitely try to return to him if I ever move back to the area.
