So disappointed in this office and especially Dr. Desai for his lack of care and professionalism. When I first went to Dr. Desai with a diagnosis for my young age he ordered an echo and placed me on a pill and that was that. I've been seeing him for over a year and my prognosis has only gotten worse and yet the level of care has been below subpar. My last appointment I waited in his office for an hour before they said he wasn't coming and they scheduled me for a Teladoc appointment to which he never showed up for. I called his office and he was eating lunch and didn't have the slightest idea on why I called. I was waiting 15 minutes in the Teladoc appointment. After telling him I was calling because I wanted my results (which he NEVER looked at prior to me calling) he opened the results while on the phone and was shocked to see my results. He had absolutely no advice or course of action to move forward. I have since went to Columbia/NYP where they were shocked to see the lack of testing and records after I've been seeing this "cardiologist" for over a year. I am sickened to have wasted so much time with this office and "doctor" and would tell anyone if they value their lives to please seek care elsewhere.

Dr Desai treated my mother who already had a pacemaker.. was completely fine from the work of the previous doctor. she was going in to replace the battery with Dr Desai and now she is having complications. The first six months were excruciating and she had many complications. It was supposed to heal in 2 months but for 6 months it was horrible pain and discomfort and now at the 10 month mark she is still feeling sharp pain and discomfort. Until the end he kept saying it will get better soon and now her new cardiologist is asking her to follow up with him every 3 months to keep an eye on this faulty work.

If possible I would give Dr. Desai a minus score. I am a fellow physician and just completed treatment for breast cancer in 2019. For years I had occasional paroxysmal tachycardia, however, with age the attacks became more frequent. I visited Dr, Desai's office and was told that ablation would permanently resolve my issue and that he has done many. After the procedure my HR was around 60 (from~80/min) and I felt very tired. Nobody followed up from the office and I therefore assumed that all is well. Three months later I accidentally found out that I have a complete AV block and must have a pacemaker. So I went from believing that one of my medical issues would be solved to having Dr. Desai adding to my medical problems. Again, no follow up and no apology.

Dr DeSai is a gem of a Doctor. He is smart, caring , patient , and very kind. He takes his time listening to you and explaining clearly what is wrong and how we are going to fix the issue. He had helped me tremendously over the years. I've of the best for sure.
