Worst cardiologist ever!! My dad was admitted to Holmes Regional because he had trouble breathing. That was the first time Dr. Bean ever saw my father. After many diagnostics were done, Dr. Bean met with my parents to say my dad need to lose his big belly. Then he turned to my mother and asked who bought the groceries for the household. My dad was released from the hospital after a one week stay in worse shape than when he was admitted. Three days later we called paramedics after finding Dad unresponsive. He was admitted to ICU after his heart stopped twice in the ER. Dr Bean once again saw my dad on his rounds.
It wasn't until a different and much better cardiologist saw my dad in rounds that we first heard my dad had a majorly leaking heart valve!! This doctor said my dad needed heart surgery to correct the valve but now he was too sick to undergo surgery. It was the leaking valve that allowed my father's lungs to fill with fluid. Over a liter of fluid was drained from one lung. He was given diuretics to help get the fluid out of him. This ended up being too hard for his kidneys which failed.
My dad died two days ago because Dr Bean blew the opportunity to help my dad when there was still a chance he could have recovered. When someone is in distress, don't you dare lecture about diet and obesity. DO SOMETHING!! Then focus on a long term plan. Had the tables been reversed, my dad would have helped Dr Bean however he could.
Bean is a terrible person and a terrible doctor. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and see a much better cardiologist.

I was recently hospitalized about 2 weeks ago at Holmes regional medical center complain of chest pain, I have a significant cardiac history I have approximately 8 Heart stents, All of them have been performed by doctor Palayandi Who dismissed me as a patient because I owed him money. So honestly I was having trouble trying to find a doctor who would come in to the hospital and give me a consul by a cardiologist finally after being told no by several previous cardiologist, Doctor bean showed up. His sole purpose was to dismiss me and nothing more. A patient with my history should have at least have a stress test done and he didn't even do that. Further He didn't even listen to my lung sounds he never checked my heart rate, I was complaining of right late pain I advised him I had a previous angioplasty that was unsuccessful I advised him that I needed to be going straight to the Cath lab with my history. Despite prior Negative Nicholas stress testing and negative cardiac enzymes, And display negative also sounds, And display negative also sounds Despite all of this information I was not afforded Any opportunity because doctor bean insisted insisted that I be discharged from the hospital and he refused to look after me he would even check my calls or listen for a stethoscope I told him my post was much weaker on the Right side of my leg and yet he still set me home knowing my cardiac history now I am in a hospital in Tennessee I had a massive heart attack and had to have a quadruple bypass surgery done. I am going to hold him fully accountable a team of lawyers flew up from Miami to Tennessee in Nashville to come visit me there were very nice to me in spent the whole day with me. For knows doctor bean has 2 different listings under here. His other listing is under Chapman bean doctor Chapman bean cardiac associate. My lawyers inform me that he is not a license cardiologist he is A medical doctor with a certain degree of training to work under a licensed cardiologist almost like a physician assistant would be to a doctor and this guy Is a complete joke, Is a complete joke And I told him he was going to regret not taking me to the Cath lab, And I told him he was going to regret not taking me to the Cath lab Happy that he did not Me hit your deuce you to the great doctor Lewis bean? And the great doctor Chapman Bean. I am so curious about this a MD that has two different identities. Wow I didn't think that doctors were allowed doing that. Unless they are trying to hide something. So here is two image's of supposedly different Dr Beans and addresses.

Wendy and Lily are awful. Don't waste your time, they will deny every once of information they told you to make sure they don't get in trouble. So disheartening. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS- DO NOT GO HERE.

Tried to make an appointment and the scheduling receptionist was very rude. After the phone call and reading the terrible reviews I've decided to go with a more reputable and professional practice.
