Met Dr Selter for the first time March 18,2024. Immediately liked this Dr !! Took his time with me, talked to me on my level and acted with genuine concern. Very different than other heart doctors I've seen. I'm very happy to be associated with him

As a 52 year old with no family history or overt risk factors I was shocked when chest pain forced me to St Vincent's hospital. Sure enough I was in the midst of a STEMI. Dr Selter was the cardiologist called in to perform my angioplasty, stenting and follow-up care, and boy was I fortunate. I have never encountered a medical professional more willing to sit and discuss my condition, the options and the reasons for his course of action like Dr Selter. My family has varying levels of medical knowledge and he seamlessly and without a trace of losing patience answered each and every question from the most basic to the most specific. My stent placement saved my life. I'm sure there are many very talented doctors would could have performed the stent part of my treatment with a similar result...I am convinced, however, there is no one who could have done so while at the same time making me feel very comfortable in a tremendously uncomfortable situation...and for that I am extremely grateful and highly recommend Dr Selter.

Dr. Selter has been my cardiologist for years. He'll take all the time needed to answer questions and address any concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. The APRNs are the best! I highly recommend this practice.
