Patient
I had a very bad experience with this doctor. He prescribed me with medication to treat afib and I had an adverse reaction to it (constant pulse over 150). I called his office and nobody answers, you have to leave a message. He called back and said to double the dose of the medication, with no other instructions. A few days later, after no improvement, I called again and left a message. He told me to go to the ER. I went to the nearest ER. While in the ER he told me that I went to the wrong ER and that if I wanted to work with him, I would have to go the the ER closer to him! I spent 4 days in the hospital and it cost me thousands of dollars. If he had told me to stop the medication instead of doubling it, that all could have been avoided. He did not consider my reaction to the medication as possible cause of the problem and that is very poor treatment from a specialist. After leaving the hospital, the problem came back. I stopped the medication on my own and it went away in a couple days. I have never gone back to him and he never contacted me to follow up. I saw another EP in the hospital that I am now working with and he is much, much better.
