William Springer, MD

I went in for an emergency angioplasty followed by a quadruple bypass and was out within a week. Springer is honest, which persuades some patients that he has a less than perfect bedside manner. Not true. He's a brilliant surgeon who does not suffer fools, and who explains in great detail exactly what he can do to save your life And he will. A lover of Nietzsche and Dostoyevsky, Dr. Stringer and I had impassioned early morning diatribes about life, his hatred of Lyndon Johnson, his time in Afghanistan, and his justified hatred of Vietnam. But, the fact is, this brilliant doctor held my heart in his hands, giving me another 35 years. He would never want this sort of praise, but he's a true hero in my book, explaining exactly what to expect from a procedure. The nurses who work with him love and respect him, none more than I. I'd fly across state lines to have him as my cardiologist. Thank you Dr. Springer.

Dr Springer is an exceptional surgeon with exceptional skills!! He performed lung surgery on me a few months ago and encountered unexpected difficulties. He was able to skillfully complete a successful surgery. I would highly recommend him.

If you're looking for someone to coddle you at beside Dr. Springer isn't it. If you want someone to fix you heart that's got exceptional talent in that field then Dr. Springer is absolutely it. Came in on the helicopter. He immediately calmed my nerves got all the info he needed and had me in and out of surgery all that day. Woke up in ICU with a lot of fluid drained off my heart feeling instantly better. Literally a life saver thank you.
