Dr. Darpan Kumar, M.D., FHRS

Dr Kumar did my ablation for a-fib & a-flutter. He did a great job, it's gone perfectly and I feel 100% better! Highly recommend him!!

Dr Kumar by far is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable physicians you'll ever encounter. How often do you meet in this day and age a Dr. who takes the time to get it right. With today's insurance demands you may get a good 15 minutes or less with most exams. Dr. Kumar will take whatever time it's necessary to make a correct diagnosis. I read some of the other review that have been left and if you notice the ones who have some complaints are with people who are not Dr Kumar! Those comments probably should be removed, yes staff matters, if he's not a 5 Dr. there's never gonna be one. He's done extensive work with me as well as installing a pacemaker. That I resisted for sometime! You're right, Dr Kumar I do feel better thank you for all your service. PS He will read these comments!

Dr. Kumar is not only my doctor he is my friend. From the time of my first visit he made me feel comfortable and genuinely concerned about my care. He was not rushed and took time to explain everything carefully. He was like call me anytime as I'm here to serve you with any questions or health issues you have. Very kind, very knowledgeable and personal doctor whom I treasure. We are fortunate to have him in Wichita Falls.

Dr Kumar has done surgery on 3 of my family members,which includes myself. All experiences and outcomes have been excellent. He is the finest and most kind cardiac surgeon Wichita Falls has. I would be comfortable encouraging anyone to go to him, and I am a retired Registered Nurse. He soon will be consultig with the 4th member of my family for appropriate treatment.God has blessed him with exceptional talent in cardiac surgery.

Update: After a few months of posting this review, I received a call from Dr. Kumar, who saw the bad review and wanted to apologize for his office staff's behavior. I appreciate the apology and really hope that he has a better staff now. Went to the physician for blood pressure and palpitations, went through initial testing and after everything came back within normal ranges, he didn't even want to see me or try to find out why I was still having the symptoms. He wouldn't even see me for a follow-up visit even after everything. One visit and a results call from his nurse, thats all i got. Good luck with him and his office as I will never go back.
