Dr. Haroonur Rashid, MD PhD

My husband and I have both been with Dr. Rashid for many years because he is caring & knowledgeable and takes exceptional care of us. I highly recommend this doctor for anyone needing to see a cardiologist..

Dr. Rashid truly takes his time and listens. He genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. His office staff was by far one of the most professional group of people I've ever spoken to. They listened and communicated everything that I needed to know. I trust Dr. Rashid with not only my health needs but also my family's.

I have only seen Dr. Rashid for a few minutes at my initial appointment, however, his office staff has not been communicative at all. I arrived for a stress test to be informed that I would need to pay several hundred dollars of additional charges over my insurance coverage. None of this was discussed with me or disclosed to me before hand. I left the office without doing the test and now they are double charging me for a no show. I may just take my records and find another physician. I'm disappointed in the quality of communication and care for patients here.

If you want a cardiologist who will listen to you, take the time to truly diagnose the issue and care about the symptoms you're having, do NOT go to Dr. Rashid. He saw me for about 5 mins both times I went to him (after almost an hour of waiting), I described my symptoms to him and the fact that I had been in and out of the ER 4 days in a row for tachycardia spells that made my entire body seize up. He immediately told me I would need surgery to cut a transmitter in my heart causing the spells. He then prescribed me beta blockers before giving me an echocardiogram and a holter monitor. Turns out I have POTS, so the beta blockers just dropped my already low blood pressure through the floor which in turn made me weak for days. All of that to say, this man does not care about you or your health, he cares about a check.

I cannot recommend Dr Rashid enough. His professionalism and bed side manner are unmatched. He will take the time to explain anything you have questions on. He goes above and beyond for his patients. I wouldn't trust anyone more with my family's and my health more than Dr.Rashid.
