Heartbroken This is what I wrote to his nurse, Misty, whom you have to go through to see the doctor. I am concerned that I have been asking for an appointment since Christmas vacation. My question is why does he not discuss these labs with me at least the one he ordered. If he is too busy to see me, can he recommend another cardiologist? I don't mind going to Ft Worth. This is exactly why I started seeing him a few years ago, to see from my history to recognize any issues. I am concerned. I did see another cardiologist in April and had a serious issue. Very disappointed in this Dr.

I cannot believe that Dr. Newman has a 3.6 star rating! Dr. Newman has been my Cardiologist for quite some time now, and he and his staff are beyond belief amazing! Dr. Newman has to be the best and most loving, patient, caring, incredible "bed side manner" and just overall personality as a Doctor I have EVER met! Truly! DO NOT believe ANYTHING you hear on this review board that is negative! I challenge each and every single one of you to give him at least 1 chance! TRUST ME, you WILL NOT be disappointed at ALL! I have been to so many Doctors in the State of Texas because of my wife's extenuating medical conditions, and I am here to testify on behalf of Dr. Newman, P.A. Clark, and ALL the staff at the Heart Center, that it will be the best experience you have ever had! Thank you Dr. Newman, P.A. Clark, and Staff for all that you have done for me, to better my health, and encourage me along the way! I will forever be in your debt! I Love you ALL! :-)

Dr. Newman and staff are superb! Wouldn't want to see another cardiologist- he knows much more than most doctors, and explains in a way anyone could understand. Great guy. My husband and I both use him as our cardiologist!!

The low rating is not a reflection of Dr. Newman, but of his receptionist. 1st visit ok, 2nd visit, waited one and a half-hour without any communication during the wait. An apology when I entered the exam room. Instructed to have a cardiac catheterization done. That was completed with not so good news from Dr. Muhammad. Possible open heart surgery, talk to Dr. Newman for further consult i was told.Called that afternoon and was told if I had any problems seeing Dr. Clark who works with Dr. Newman, I did not have a problem with that. Was told I would hear back, that was Tuesday Dec. 6th, called 7th left message, called 8th left message no response. Today the 9th, a personal visit is in place, now that I'm off driving restrictions from the catheterization procedure. I'm also a Veteran working with a Community Care program which allows Veterans to use services out of the VA's facilities. Thank you

Rudest assistant Misty is her name. When my parents call she has literally hung up on them not willing to listen to anything they have to say or any concerns. Why is she even in the medical field. I have been in the medical field for 30 years and have never treated my clients with such non caring little heart and such poor attitudes .
