Physician Care Centers - Pat Booker

Elizabeth is a great receptionist. As soon as we enter the office she greets us with open arms and makes us feel welcome. Any questions we have she is always there doesn't give us a hassle at all. Very thankful to have her at PCC.

Maurice Jones is an awful nurse. No bedside manner. Refuses to answer real medical questions. Just awful. He just got up and walked out of appt. Always acts like he's never seen you before. I dont recommend him at all

Super sweet receptionist name crystal , she is so patient with me and gental when she talks to you, she always makes the place feel welcoming. And the staff supper sweet all around. Absolutely no judgment there ! Great atmosphere. And my dr is super patient and judgment free and comfortable to share with my health. Great location and it's closer to my home . ^_^

I've never really encountered such a rude Dr such as Maurice Jones. He got mad at me for getting there way too early before the next med refill and belittled me saying ''You signed a contract, you should know what you signed and be responsible for keeping track of all this information'', meaning my med refills. My co pay went up from $5 to 30, and he wanted to see me in two weeks and wanted me to pay $30 again, that is ridiculous. Now my mental health is at jeopardy due to DREADING coming to the Dr. I really don't appreciate being talked down too, and deserve an apology from the DR. Also if I am scheduling too early, shouldn't the front desk be alerting me of when my next MED refill apt should take occurence? The Dr did mention they should have told me, and now I am upset because if they had told me, I would have booked a different date, I work a full time job, it's hard to keep up with all this information, there needs to be a better system in placed, don't' schedule me if you know it's too soon.

The Pat Booker office seems very disorganized with an apparently high turnover rate in their referrals department. I suffered for two months waiting on them to give me the proper referrals in a timely manner for my issue. On finally getting to see a specialist, they knew exactly what was wrong with me, while the staff at Porter Medical spun their wheels. Why did I have to wait two months to get answers? They also did not do the correct blood tests, even though I told them my history of thyroid cancer. It is a simple blood test that could have immediately given me answers about my condition. I still wasn't able to see their referred endocrinologist, who can't get me in until October, so I had to drive an hour away to see my old endocrinologist, who was able to order the correct test. If you want any kind of contact with the doctor at this location, you have to make an appointment. If you call the after hours line and they deem it not urgent they have a recording that says they might charge you a $50 fee. This whole practice is very off-putting and I am very dissatisfied.
