CareNow Urgent Care - Kitty Hawk Road

My first visit here, from checking in, getting vitals from the nurse, to visit with the doctor everyone was so very pleasant. My experience was great and when you don't feel very well it's a good feeling having staff that's patient and understanding. I will come here again if I need to. Good first impressions.

The staff were absolutely Outstanding in addressing my medical visit needs. Very personable, professional, and clear in explaining in plain language what they were doing to address my medical needs and why they were doing it this way. Katherine in particular clearly explained the procedure and process she was performing and asked me frequently if I was doing okay during the procedure.

I'm only giving two stars for the fact that the front desk ladies were so pleasant and kind, and the first nurse who took most of my information was kind as well, if this hadn't been the case this would've been a one star. The main doctor who saw me though, an older tall white man, not sure of his name, but he was the main issue. As someone who works in healthcare as well I understand we all have bad days but this was just rude and unnecessary. From the jump he was very unprofessional and came off as extremely entitled and arrogant. I felt generally uncomfortable with him, and when I asked for clarification on my diagnosis, he gave me a very rude response and borderline mocked me after I said I was just trying to make sure. I felt extremely disrespected and didn't understand what I had done to be treated this way. If you don't have empathy and just general kindness for others, stay out of healthcare because treating anyone like that is disgusting.

Absolutely phenomenal and QUICK service in a very stressful situation with one of our kiddos. They got my son back immediately. Everyone was compassionate and appeared genuinely concerned. I can honestly say that I have never had a non-pediatric medical provider act as sympathetic and empathetic as PA Crockett. He quickly and effectively took care of my son, made us all feel seen, came off as genuinely caring and got us out the door in a flash. My 4-yo and I both left feeling blessed to have had PA Crockett and the team of nurses and staff that were there that day working. Highly recommend.

Everyone from the receptionist.. techs .. PA's on up.. are the very Best! They are so nice, helpful & caring. They treat you with respect & really care about you! Thankful they are close to my location & that they're open late.. that's a lifesaver!
