About Dr. Bernardo De La Guardia, MD

Bernardo de la Guardia, MD, F.A.C.C. was born in Queretaro, Mexico. He obtained his Medical Degree from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), ranking second among the class of 1991. He dedicated one year to research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and then continued with Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Arizona in Tucson where he spent an extra year as Chief Medical Resident. Dr de la Guardia's cardiology training continued at the University of Texas-Medical School at Houston/Hermann Hospital where he completed three years of Cardiovascular Medicine and a dedicated year to Interventional Cardiology.
