For those leaving Dr. Ellis negative reviews for long wait times, it's worth keeping some perspective. Excellent cardiologists, like Dr. Ellis, tend to be in very high demand because they are thorough, experienced, and trusted by so many patients. That naturally means their schedules are full and often overbooked. When it comes to your heart, this isn't fast food or a routine errand, it's complex, life-critical care. I would much rather have a doctor who takes the time needed than one who rushes through appointments just to stay on schedule. In my experience, the quality of care, attention to detail, and outcomes here far outweigh the inconvenience of waiting a little longer. If you want top-tier cardiac care, patience is part of the process.

My dad has his yearly nuclear stress test along with other testing related to his yearly cardio exam. I believe this office is all about herding in patients and not considerate of the patient's time spent in the office. It is all about how many patients can be scheduled.Today our appointment started at 10:30 a.m, not called back to begin testing until 11 a.m. and at this time I'm typing this it at 3:15 p.m. we are still waiting to see Dr Ellis. It is always hard to get calls returned from the office. I experienced this myself when I scheduled to see Dr Ellis and I refuse to spend ALL day in one dr's office. Unfortunately my 81 year old dad will not change to a different doctor. But if you are looking for a cardiologist, and value your time, go somewhere else.

I had a wait time of 1 hour 37 minutes. I drive 1hour and 30 minutes for the appointment. Staff asks me to be there 20 minutes before. I gave almost 5 hours to spend less than 5 minutes with doctor. Listen to heart once each side & 4 deep breaths. EKG and blood pressure reading. Unacceptable wait time in my opinion.

Just had my yearly nuclear stress test and echo at Dr Ellis offices. Wonderful staff there and Doc Ellis is great. Highly recommend.

Sugarland Methodist is the one and only hospital that I will go to for all my medical needs. Dr Ellis is very helpful and he explain everything to me so I can understand it the staff is good at making my appointment for my next visit.
