Dr. John Samuels has been my parents cardiologist for over 20 years. He is very patient and explains everything very thoroughly. He uses humor and he is very kind. The staff is very caring and friendly. The new office is open and spacious. Even though the new office is more modern, he brought his beautiful art depicting Christs compassion. It's the same compassion Dr. John shows to each person. We're very grateful for his care.

My experience had been phenomenal at long as it was routine. I made an appointment because I was experiencing chest pains. I arrived at my appointment only to be told there was no appointment and my Dr PaulRaj was out. The older Dr.Samuel was asked to squeeze me in due to my symptoms and history. He advised that I go to the ER. I was advised to make sure to tell the ER/MH hospital to contact my cardiologist vs a staff cardiologist. I was in the hospital from Friday to Sunday and never heard from or saw either Dr Samuel. A few of the Dr's tried to contact them directly. My care was on hold waiting on Dr Samuel to order test and to read the results of the test ordered by the hospital. Today is Monday and I still have not heard from Dr. Samuel. I attempted to call and notify him of my admission on Saturday, but I was told, that isn't the proper way to handle an admission. That the hospital would have to call him. I tried to call again today and got the office VM. I'm still waiting to hear back while searching for a new cardiologist. The office hospitality is amazing, however that doesn't compensate for the lack of care and attention received out of the office while in the hospital. M. Shelton

Here's the problem... I only got to sit in the waiting room for two minutes. And it's the best doctor office waiting room I've ever seen. But sadly, they were so quick to get me back for my test I didn't have time to change the album on the record player. Then, the support staff were the most friendly and cheerful folks, and even talked me through any nervousness about being put into the machine for the test. I wish I'd scheduled more tests just to be taken care of in such a sweet way. And as if all that weren't enough, my results came through with such speed I didn't have time to worry about whether or not my heart was about to explode. What's the point of a Dr visit if you can't even be stressed in the process? I guess I'll have to hope for more heart concerns so I can head back and experience this waiting room and staff again.

My entire experience was great. Dr Samuel's staff is friendly and personable. Making appointments is very easy. No excessive wait time. Consultation is thorough and not rushed. He was very interested in my opinion and questions on care options. So glad my doctor recommended this cardiologist team!!

Since they moved from Humble this is the WORST run office we've ever dealt with. They don't answer the phone, they don't listen to messages and they don't respond to messages. The only way we can reach them is to call one of the staff on their personal cell phone. Pretty bad especially for a cardiologist. My husband has been a patient of John Samuel for 20 years but he's thinking it may be time for a change to a doctor who is more responsive. So sad to see this.
