I was brought via ambulance for stroke protocol, the er staff were quick and amazing. Listened didn't think I was being dramatic about the situation. Was admitted and the nurses in the floor were great neurology was great. My only complaint with the facility is the need to be remodeled and brought up to modern times. I understand slow and steady with new company acquiring the facility, possible make room for a MRI wing or neuro wing, the little trailer outside during the cold is ok but I looked like a burrito entering and exiting the building in the wheelchair.

The ER staff was professional, compassionate and attentive. I was visiting from out of state. It was 8:30 PM when I was walking with my son and his fiance. I tripped and fell down the street from the hospital. Entering through the nearest door, which happened to be the front vs the ER, I came in just as a staff member was walking through the lobby on her way home from her shift. As soon as she saw me, she rushed over, grabbed a towel and a wheelchair and called for help. She stayed with me and the ER staff and helped to clean me up until I was settled in with the on-duty ER staff. The remaining time, the staff was quick to assess, give me initial medications to ease the shock and pain symptoms and get me into a CTScan. They explained everything they were going to do and why, even making adjustments to the type of pain meds after considering my request. Ends up I broke my nose, had a minor brain injury and some teeth that became misaligned. I appreciated everyone, from Michelle who first rushed to my aid, to Caden and the rest of the ER staff who took care of me. I felt safe and professionally diagnosed and treated.

I needed to get my Dad to an ER at midnight on Thanksgiving. We stopped at Sherman medical center and were very pleasantly surprised!! Zero wait, clean facilities, super friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff made this unpleasant experience of kidney stones on Thanksgiving as good of an experience as we could possibly imagine!
Thank you so much for kind and caring staff!

I had the best ER experience today. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My mother was seen immediately and the tests and scans were completed quickly. Dr. Nguyen was so thorough and took his time explaining everything to my mother. Sherman Medical Center will be my go to hospital from now on.

Husband was treated at ER on 8/3/25 after months of sickness, and misery. He was misdiagnosed by another ER (TMC) in mid-June, The Sherman Med. Center ER was fast to evaluate him and get a diagnosis of an acute kidney infection. He was admitted and spent 3 days on the 2nd floor. The nurses and hospitalists were superb in their care. Especially Tabathia and MaKayla, these two ladies made his stay very enjoyable. We FINALLY feel like we have a path to better health. Thank you all. Just one request, to the administrators, please invest in batteries for the IV Pumps so your nurses dont have to come in and unhook the patient multiple times a day for them to go to restroom or to walk. It will surely save your nurses a lot of work!
