Methodist Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio - Schertz

This was my first time to visit at this location. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. This was a peaceful office if that makes any sense. After completing the initial paperwork I was taken to the triage room. The medical assistant was friendly and very good at his job. When I got to the exam room I only waited about 5 minutes before Dr Prieto came in. She was such a blessing. She is the consummate professional but also very personable. She made me feel at ease and explained clearly what the next steps were going to be and gave me great confidence and hope for future diagnosis and treatment. So very blessed to have found this team of professionals.

Dr Pierto is one of the best physicians I have seen to address my issues. She and her staff communicate respectfully and definitely keep the environment relaxing. They all work together efficiently. I appreciate that.

This was my first (full) visit to this provider at the Schertz location. (In years past, I've been under their care at the Live Oak facility.) I'd visited the Schertz clinic the week prior, but due to a last minute call to surgery, Dr. Canales was unable to see me, and the staff couldn't reach me in time to prevent me from arriving as scheduled. On both occasions, the staff was very personable, patient, and professional. This visit, Dr. Canales greeted me with a warm smile and ice-breaking banter, and exhibited a kind and caring bedside manner that quickly put me at ease. His and his team's consideration for their patients seems authentic and is undeniable. It builds my confidence in the expectation of quality of care I'll receive from their team. The facility is very nice and conveniently located (for me), and the staff and physician could be a template for what 5-star customer service looks like. I look forward to continued care by Dr. Canales and his staff and would recommend this medical practice to family and friends.

Dr. Canales and his staff are absolutely amazing--polite, kind, and incredibly patient. Dr. Canales has the best bedside manner, instantly putting you at ease. He takes the time to explain your condition not only in layman's terms but also ensures you truly understand it. I couldn't recommend this group more!

I felt "seen and heard" by Dr Prieto and her staff. She spent extra time explaining my condition and then answered all of my questions regarding my concerns. I felt valued, and as a patient with health/heart issues, that is very important and greatly appreciated!! I am very pleased with today's visit with my caring Cardiologist!
