Patient
The administartive staffs do not know what they are doing. Be careful before setting up an appointment with them. My PCP referred to to a cardiologist in July. I got an appointment for Sept. 11th. On Sept. 3rd in the morning, I got a phone call around 9 am from the center asking for a rescheduling option, which was the next day. I gave my consent. Then starting 11 am on Sept.3rd I kept getting several phone calls from a nurse/ staff named Chritine (I may have spelled the name wrong). I couldn't take those calls but she left voice message saying that they didn't have my referral on file. That was surprising. I called the office around noon, and I was told that everything looks fine, including the referral. Then again between 4 pm -5 pm the same lady called Christine called me several times (I leteraaly mean it) and left multiple voice messages statiing that they are cancelling my appointment because of the referral issues. To my surprise, now she mentioned about a Dr. who is defferent from the original cardiologist that I was referred. On Sept 4th morning, I called their office, and the staff at the front desk acknowledged that it was a mistake from their end. Now as usual she felt "sorry" (which by no means could solv my problem). At that time, thwy asked me to contact my PCP and start over again! My point is it took a while to get an appointment with my actual cardiologist in sept. She didn't have any other appointment till the end of November 2025. Now, because of someone's negligance I lost the opportunity to see my doctor. If something happens to me during this time, that would be partly because of the negligency of the staff who dealt my case. Bottom line: if you are planning to go and see a doctor at this location, make sure that those front desk staffs are giving you the correct inofrmation. Cllearly, not all of them are efficient/ enough to run a Cardiology disease center.
