I had seen different cardiologists before I settled with Dr Choucair. Dr. Choucair is an excellent cardiologist. He is very caring, compassionate when no one else showed any concern of my well being. He is considerate, understanding and respectful of my needs , issues and concerns. He is trustworthy. He explained his plans and what to expect of its procedures and he was always right . He is always accessible and easy to talk to when I have questions or problems. His skills and knowledge make me feel at ease and confident that I had referred my friends to him. His office staff are also competent , considerate , friendly and understanding . I recommend Dr. Choucair a 100% to anyone looking for a cardiologist.

Dr. Choucair is magnificent! He explains procedures and is very reassuring. We had the choice of having the procedures done with insurance out of the states, but chose to have Dr. Choucair attend to our needs. Everything was a total success and the issue resolved just as Dr. Choucair assured. We can't thank him enough for his care!

UPDATE: At age 69, my bradycardia requires a pacemaker. Dr. Choucair again addressed all my quality of life concerns and issues prior to the procedure. I cannot thank him enough, and continue to tell everyone concerned with cardiac issues to seek out Dr. Choucair. He is literally a life saver. I am now 66 years old. For several years, I unknowingly suffered from atrial flutter/fibrillation. A late night trip to the ER gave me the diagnosis. My wife, an anesthesia provider, said emphatically there was one cardiologist in San Antonio she trusted - Dr. Wassim Choucair. Dr. Choucair confirmed the diagnosis through various tests and performed a cardiac ablation. It's been almost two years since the procedure and I continue to have a regular, steady pulse of 52 bpm. In addition to providing superlative care, Dr. Choucair is a warm, caring individual who takes a genuine interest in all aspects of his patients' health. His office and professional staff are reflective of his compassion and dedication. If you are having cardiac concerns, Dr. Choucair is the one to seek out.

Dr Choucair is awesome, and so is his staff. He was very attentive and concerned with my well-being. At no point did I feel rushed. He took time to answer my questions. Now I know why his wait time is so long, but I have no problem with waiting. It just shows me that he is just as concerned for his other patients as he is for me. Also, when his staff tell you to call, if you have any questions or concerns, they may not be available at that moment, but they do call you back. I am recommending him to all my family and friends.
