My experience with Dr. Tolaymat was very positive. Dr. had reviewed my medical history before seeing me... Any questions I asked were answered. Dr. has ordered heart tests studies to find the condition of the plaque in my heart and arteries.. for my age at 75 yrs.

Dr. Tolaymat is very thorough and professional. He and his entire staff are friendly and easy to talk to when discussing health issues and concerns. The new facilities at the Westover Hills location are gorgeous! The Methodist cardiology clinic as a whole, along with all of their drs are excellent. Highly recommend.

BSN, RN FOR NEARLY 20 YRS Very SHOCKED that they sent ME a review request. Just don't want anyone else to be blindsided like me. Beyond Awful experience....I went in at my lowest because I was having palpitations and almost passed out several times when standing ...this is a problem that has been ongoing for years but has worsened as of late so I knew that I needed to seek medical attention. Upon my arrival, I stood in the lobby where I was met by two clerks who played the waiting game to see who HAD to check me in. When I walked up to the desk, the one that finally summoned me over in the coldest manner ever asked for my name and was unable to locate me or my appointment. She was rude and bothered by my very presence. I am unsure if it was racially motivated as she was Hispanic but, she treated me like I had no right to be there. I showed her on my call log that I had called and spoke with someone in their office the Friday before for 6 minutes which infuriated her because I couldn't tell her the person's name... Who remembers an appointment scheduler's name for the love of God!!!!!? She then told me to have a seat and she's be with me shortly. She said we can "squeeze" you in but you will have to wait. Apparently I was penalized for their staff incompetence. I was angry and upset, but I sat down because I knew that I needed medical attention. When she called me back up, she said they can see you at 3 o'clock. NO apologies OFFERED for the mistake ON THEIR PART! I WAS TREATED AS IF I JUST WALKED IN RANDOMLY OFF THE STREET EVEN THOUGH I WAS REFERRED BY my PCP. WHEN SHE CALLED ME BACK UP TO THE DESK TO GET MY INFORMATION, SHE SAYS WHAT ARE YOU BEING SEEN FOR IN A LOUD VOICE IN FRONT OF 4 PEOPLE WHO WERE BEHIND ME because HIPPA didn't matter in my case I guess. When I FINALLY made it to the back office, the medical assistant who took me back who was wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring said they told her not to take me back until 3 o'clock!!!! THEY TOLD HER NOT TO TAKE ME BACK AND TO MAKE ME WAIT!!! The medical assistant called the supervisor to speak with me who was also very apologetic, friendly knowledgeable, and said all the things that you'd Expect someone to say in that situation so I calmed down and got ready to see the doctor... I understand that everyone has a bad day, but she really took her bad day out on me From the time that I walked into the office for some reason. Just when I think I'm fine and calm down here comes the doctor flying in who looks at my chart and And me and already had me summed up within Two seconds as if I was some bum who walked in off the street asking him for something. I told him I was dizzy and felt like I was gonna pass out and he asked me when's the last time you passed out I told him five years ago he said Well, your symptoms are managed So you're FINE and nothing is wrong with you. !!!!! I am not on any pain medications. I work. I paid to see him. I do not abuse the health system but this office treated me less than human and I will never go back. What kind of fool would go to a cardiology office and walk in and just demand to be seen and what kind of physician says well you haven't fainted in 5 years so Your symptoms are managed?!! He also went on to gaslight me by saying "who TOLD you that you have these conditions and something wrong with you" !! I guess I'm supposed to come see him when I split my head open in church or at the grocery. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE... When I completed with the visit and was walking out with my husband, the medical assistants both in unison screamed "HAVE A GREAT DAY AT THE TOP OF THEIR Lungs" in front of a full office just to taunt me for telling on them. I could go This is the shortened version of my experience. As a nurse, I am appalled at the care I received, and I am hurt that they are allowed to treat people this way. I attached my result for tax to prove that my symptoms were valid and that I wasn't asking this doctor for anything but HELP!!! DO BETTER! Sorry for typos and run ons but reliving this has me shaking mad, hurt, and Disgusted.
