Patient
My recent experience at Schnitzler Cardiovascular Consultants was deeply disappointing and honestly unexpected from a medical office that is supposed to prioritize patient care. From the moment I arrived, the treatment I received from Mary at the front desk was surprisingly rude and completely lacking basic empathy. I understand that schedules are important, but arriving 30 minutes late due to a personal situation should not justify such a cold and dismissive attitude--especially in a medical setting where many patients already arrive stressed, concerned, or vulnerable. Despite explaining my situation, my appointment was canceled immediately, without Mary offering any alternatives, quick rescheduling, or even the slightest effort to help. Her attitude made it very clear that there was no intention to find a reasonable solution or to take the patient's circumstances into consideration. On top of that, the fees charged by this office for missed appointments or late arrivals are excessively high, disproportionate, and in my opinion, reflect a system that seems more focused on penalizing patients than supporting them. For a place dealing with cardiac health--where empathy should be a fundamental value--this lack of consideration is even more concerning. Overall, the treatment I received, the lack of flexibility, and the fee structure made my experience at Schnitzler Cardiovascular Consultants frustrating and unsatisfactory. There is significant room for improvement in patient care and in the way situations like mine are handled--situations that many other medical offices resolve with simple communication and respect. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this place.
