I have only had great experiences with Dr Kiesz and his staff. I will honestly say he saved my life 2 times now with two 90% blockages in my Mid LAD, known as the widow maker,10 years apart. He listens to you and if he is not comfortable with what he is hearing or results of a stress text, he will recommend a course of action quickly, like the following day, both times in my case! He is amazing! What he does avoids open heart surgery! In my opinion he is the best of the best and I trust him with my life totally. That says a lot. I do not suffer with high cholesterol but my genetics and inflammation has been the cause of my 2 life threatening blockages and stents. Two times now, I should have had a major heart attack, died, or both. I am so grateful for Dr Kiesz and his dedication to saving lives daily! Judi N

I cannot recommend Dr. Kiesz based on the care my mother received during her treatment for blocked arteries. The experience was deeply troubling from start to finish.
During the first procedure, Dr. Kiesz proclaimed "oh shit" in the middle of the process, which caused immense anxiety for my mother, who is already an anxious person. When she asked for clarification, he brushed her off with a vague response and left the room without further explanation.
Following the procedure, she was prescribed a medication to be started two weeks later. Despite repeated calls to his office, his staff failed to follow up with her insurance for the required approval. They repeatedly promised to call back but never did. As a result, my mother couldn't get the medication and began experiencing severe chest pain two weeks after the procedure, ultimately ending up in the hospital.
When she returned to Dr. Kiesz's office, his PA informed her she needed another stent. During the third procedure, Dr. Kiesz blamed her for not taking the medication--which she could not access because his staff never completed the necessary follow-ups. When she tried to explain, he dismissed her concerns, claiming his staff is "excellent," and walked out without addressing her questions or situation.
To make matters worse, her new cardiologist later clarified that the medication in question would not have prevented the issue Dr. Kiesz claimed it caused. Additionally, Dr. Kiesz never informed her about the likelihood of angina, nor did he suggest keeping nitroglycerin on hand to manage symptoms. His lack of communication, dismissive attitude, and apparent prioritization of ego over patient care are unacceptable.
Adding insult to injury, Dr. Kiesz's office has still not released my mother's medical records to her new cardiologist, despite multiple requests. This lack of cooperation is both unprofessional and a barrier to her receiving the care she needs.
I urge others to consider this account before choosing Dr. Kiesz as their cardiologist. Compassion, communication, and follow-through are critical in healthcare--and unfortunately, my mother's experience with Dr. Kiesz fell far short on all counts.

Dr. Kiesz has been treating me since 2013 and he's an amazing doctor. The staff at the Tuscany and Cath Lab are great. I would recommend him because he's always considered and concerned for his patients. Plus he's always straight forward in his diagnosis so you know exactly what going on. Thank you, Dr. Kiesz

My one star is for Tristan on Dr. Kiesz staff. She insisted I needed a referral from my primary care doctor, which was absolutely idiotic. I am with a well known PPO plan, that indicated I did not need a referral. I wonder how many other potential patients she has lost for Dr. Kiesz.

Great surgeon, horrible doctor!
Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. "You can thank the Chinese for Covid" and "Look at yourself, you look horrible" are two direct quotes from visits that I experienced.
Not to mention the HIPA violation when the nurse disclosed information to my mother in a recovery room post operation that I did not give them permission to release. For this procedure I was told it was going to be a 300$ charge out of pocket. Then was charged an additional much larger amount out of pocket through mail months later.
I had a payment plan set up to pay a small payment monthly because I couldn't afford the balance in total I have paid for the last 60 months on time.
I got a call today and was told my payment plan was no longer valid and I had to settle up the balance today with a 25% discount or they were going to send the balance collections.
This was 13 days before Christmas.
I told them to send it collections then was called back 2 hours later to get me to open a healthcare credit card to cover the balance. Seems at best unethical and at worst illegal which I am looking into now.
Shaking your patients down before the holidays doesn't seem like a honest doctor to me. If you are a considering a new doctor cardiologist. I would look into finding one that has your health as his priority and not your wallet.
Happy holidays.
