Patient Reviews

Patient

Rescheduled to a later time. With barely any communications at all until its very last minute. When the Doctor came in to check up my mother, just pure racism straight out. Never coming back again.

★★★★★

I had a stress test at cardiology of San Antonio on May 14th 2025. First off the receptionist was very polite and answered all my questions. The nurse that performed my stress test was Janae Esparza, she was very knowledgeable in what she was doing and answer to all of my questions and never skipped a beat. She was the cornerstone of the whole test and did her job very well, she was very pleasant and professional. Would I go back for another stress test if need be, yes I was very pleased with their service

We drove over an hour to see this doctor and showed up to the place looking abandoned. The gate was locked so we couldn't even get in the parking lot. We called 8 times with no answer. Do not go here!!!

Appointment time was 8:15, got there early and filled out paperwork but didn't get brought back until 8:45 after I asked the front what time I'd be seen. Had to hold 3 of the EKG leads onto myself because they wouldn't stick, so who knows if that's accurate data! Doctor saw me for a whopping 10 minutes and told me I needed a beta blocker for my high blood pressure... 120/90 isn't remotely high enough for that! Then had the audacity to tell me I needed better sleep hygiene (a quick patient history would've told him I'm already doing all the right things). The end he shrugged his shoulders and told me I needed to find ways to be less stressed myself. Now I'm getting a phone call from Nexus Diagnostics for an EEG test when there was zero discussion during my appointment that I needed one! Will be going elsewhere for cardiac care.

No one ever answers the phone. Forget about getting a call-back. I tried for days. Finally just had my pharmacy try to contact them. Kelly (the nurse) denied my prescription refill. I could not afford the $175 first visit, $250 Test A, and $350 Test B (I have no insurance) but Kelly had agreed to fill it for 30 days while I apply with Medicaid or other provider. When I got a hold of her and asked her why she denied my prescription, she said I had to go in for a visit. I said I DID, and now I am down to 3 pills because no one would return my calls and you said you would give me 30 days to get some aid. Her response (and I QUOTE): "If you can't afford a doctor's visit, how can you afford the medication?" I said, "my husband filled my hospital prescription at Walmart for $31 generic" ... Silence... more silence ... so I said, "just forget it, I'll call a doctor at the hospital." SHAMEFUL.
