StrideCare Vascular

The receptionist and nurse who brings you to the room are great. It's just the PA JENNA who gets the 2 stars. I came in there with alot of stress, worry, very unsure of what was happening to me and she didnt really make it better..she doesn't like to answer questions and at one point in our chat actually said to me "did you hear what I just said?". This is to me, in tears, scared of what is going on with my body, nervous of any diagnosis or any potential upcoming procedure..take it for what you will but I don't want someone who is already impatient with me during our first ever chat to be doing anything further to me. I am self pay so I'll just take my cash elsewhere.

Everyone I interacted with were very respectful and friendly. I arrived for my appointment very early but was seen within a few minutes of my arrival. Shauna was very professional and explained options and procedures thoroughly. I felt very comfortable and confident.

The PAs are super sweet but this place is an impersonal and disorganized mill. Everyone was nice enough when I first went in, but the schedulers messed up my appointment for my first ablation, and then when I was five minutes over their grace period (for the wrong appt time; for the appt I booked, I was still within the grace period), they forced me to cancel. I have 3 kids under 6 at home including a special needs child, and I had to take unpaid time off work and get expensive childcare to be able to make these procedures work. I begged them to accommodate, especially given that it wasn't even my fault, but they wouldn't budge. They just said the doctor is booked today and so couldn't do it. The kicker is that when I was here for my appointments, I waited way more than 15 minutes to be seen. I understand that it's a business but it's also healthcare and patient care matters.

From start to finish, my experience at StrideCare Vascular was excellent. They were able to schedule me for a next-day appointment, which was such a relief since most places I called had long wait times. When I arrived, the receptionist was welcoming, smiling, and attentive. Check-in was quick and simple since I had completed everything online beforehand. The option to pay my copay online or in-office made the process even easier. The medical assistant who took me back was so sweet and very thorough in explaining every step--blood pressure, photos, and everything they needed to do. I appreciated how attentive and kind she was. I was actually early, and they still took me back right away--no waiting at all, which is rare and greatly appreciated. Shortly after, Shauna Gordon, PA-C (Physician Assistant), came in, and she was absolutely wonderful. I was initially told it might be a while to see the doctor, but the PA had availability, and I'm so glad I was scheduled with her. Shauna was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and empathetic. She explained everything in detail, even using a diagram to help me fully understand what was going on and the next steps, including what any potential procedures would look like. Check-out was just as easy as check-in, and I was scheduled promptly for my next step. The entire process was seamless, the office was spotless and quiet, and every staff member I interacted with was personable and kind. As someone who works in this field and triages patients daily, I have high expectations for patient care. I can truly say that StrideCare Vascular far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this clinic and Shauna Gordon, PA-C, and I look forward to meeting Dr. Smith as well. Thank you to the entire staff for the excellent care!

Jenna was so knowledgeable and helpful . I realize at another practice I have been to , I may have been miss lead a bit , She knows her stuff! I will be back and recommend others to this group.
