I have been a patient of Dr. Howerton for over 4 years. Dr. Howerton truly takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly -- I never feel rushed or dismissed. She is thorough, compassionate, and genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such expertise with kindness. I always leave my appointments feeling confident about my care plan. Highly recommend Dr. Howerton to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive primary care provider!

Couple years ago the Primary Care Provider (PCP) for my wife retired and we were in need to find one! Since we are greeting older, we really hate to drive to Austin for medical appointments. With a friend recommendation my wife saw Dr Howerton for the first time and I was there during the appointment (based on my wife request). I was very impressed with the details and through questions and checking from Dr Howerton without rushing us in 10 minutes. After a couple visits, for my wife, I asked Dr Howerton if I be a patient of her, and she welcomed me as a new patient. The PCP I had before for 36 years had returned in 2020 and I continue with the new replacement provider but, again, I despise the drive to the central area in Austin. I retired from one of the professional medical field and I holds two masters degrees and a Ph.D, degree and I truly have a lot of respect for Dr Howerton for her professionalism and dedication to serve her patients. I am also pleased with the assistance for the office staff.

First visit and it was a pleasure. Staff was c courteous and professional. I appreciate that they were conscious of my time and were on time with my scheduled visit. Dr. Howerton was very professional, courteous and thorough. Look forward to a long association with this practice and Dr. Howerton in particular.

Dr Howerton is absolutely wonderful! I am in the medical field with my own patients as well so I bring some overanalyzing to the table with the doctors I see personally. She has been incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough generally, but especially throughout the process of a recent diagnosis I received. She has helped me navigate finding the best medications and dosage, plus lifestyle tips and I am extremely grateful. I know personally the schedule and grind can be SO INCREDIBLY TAXING when you invest in every person you see, and I appreciate her so much because she is thorough and truly cares.

Dr. Howerton has done a fine job with my annual physicals and provides clear guidance on how I can always improve. Never rushes me and has a good "bedside manner."
