About Dr. Fisayomi Shobayo, MD
Dr. Fisayomi Shobayo is a cardiologist at Kelsey-Seybold. She earned her medical degree in 2012 at Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry in Plymouth, United Kingdom. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Internal Medicine Residency Training Program in 2019. In addition, she also completed her general cardiovascular disease and advanced echocardiography fellowship at UTHealth Houston in 2022, where she served as the Chief Cardiovascular Disease Fellow. Dr. Shobayo's desire to help people inspired her to pursue a career in medicine and led her to specialize in cardiology. She is board certified in internal medicine, and fluent in English and Yoruba.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shobayo. She takes the time to truly listen and never rushes through appointments and explains everything clearly and make sure I understand. She's very humble! What stands out most is her compassion and genuine concern for her patients' well-being. I always leave feeling reassured and supported. The staff is also incredibly friendly and efficient, making each visit smooth and stress-free. I'm so grateful to have found a doctor I can trust completely. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shobayo and her staff are great. Aside from being very knowledgeable, she has great social skills. She's warm, she listens and she doesn't make things feel rushed. I was seen at my appointment time and she's been extremely quick to provide comment on diagnostic test results through the patient portal. Her office isn't convenient to me at all but very much worth the drive. Highly recommend.
