11/21/24: I was referred by my PCP to address chronic hypertension. Dr. Rahumizadeh and his staff are great! Tammy, the receptionist is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Nora, the technician who performed my EKG and took my blood pressure was friendly and professional. Dr. Rahumizadeh has always been very friendy, thorough, professional and established a great rapport with me. I've never feel rushed, and I've always felt that he listens to my concerns when he draws up a treatment plan. My blood pressure levels have greatly improved in the few months that I have been treated. There is plenty of parking in front of the building.

I had high hopes for this cardiology clinic, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by billing issues that they were unwilling to resolve. During my two visits, I was charged three separate co-pay amounts, even though I should have only been responsible for two, as I had two visits scheduled. They applied the second co-pay towards a procedure instead of co-pay field on their itemized statement. Initially, I thought it might have been a mistake, but after chatting with their rep online through their portal, I was met with resistance and no responses to my questions. When I called, I got different answeres. I was given a clear response to not worry about the remaining balance (which was supposed to be the co-pay, not towards the procedure as my BCBS insurance should have taken care of that). When I got online reminders about a remaining balance, I reached out via their portal and they simply refused to correct the charges, failing to offer any clear explanation or assistance other than I owe the amount I owe. Aside from the billing issue itself, the medical care itself was great, actually. The medical staff is knowledgeable, but the administrative issues completely overshadowed any positives. For a clinic that deals with something as important as heart health, you'd expect better customer service and accountability. Ultimately, I'm frustrated by how they handled the situation, and it's hard to recommend a place that can't even get billing right. Be wary of how they attributed charges, and if you decide to go, make sure to double-check your invoices thoroughly.

I think its weird my doctor refers me to this doctor for a stress test and they are wanting me to see them twice before they even preform an exam. I guess after covid doctors felt they should be making more off patients?? There are many other cardiologist that will preform test and rule out what exam is needed in the first visit especially when your doctor is sending over a track record of whats going on. I would suggest researching other doctors before choosing this office. Front desk manager was very unprofessional and rude we will not be going here.
